How to reach the Institute

The Institute for Neurosurgical Pathophysiology is located in Building 505 of the University Hospital in Mainz, Germany. Please come to the office in U-109 (Untergeschoss)

By plane :
Take a flight to Frankfurt Rhein-Main Airport (Intl. Code : FRA). The airport is located 25 km (15 miles) east of Mainz. From the Airport you may take the S-Bahn S8 (Metro) to Mainz Hbf. Then there are busses (62, 63 or 71) or cabs to 'Uni-Klinik'. In the hospital proceed to building 505, room U-109.

By train :
Take a train to Mainz Hauptbahnhof (HBF, main station), from there proceed by bus No. 62, 63, or 71 to the stop 'Uni-Klinik'. Proceed to building 505, room U-109

By car :

Coming from West : (e.g. direction Bonn/Köln)
Follow route A60 via the 'Autobahn-Dreieck Mainz' direction Darmstadt, leave the autobahn at exit „Mainz-Finthen“, head to „Saarstraße/Innenstadt“, cross the roundabout 'Europaplatz', go straight ahead direction 'Innenstadt' and follow the signs to 'Uni-Klinik'.

Coming from East :(e.g. direction Würzburg/Darmstadt)
Follow route A60 via the 'Autobahn-Dreieck Rüsselsheim', leave the autobahn at exit 'Mainz-Hechtsheim', head to 'Mz-Innenstadt' and follow the signs to 'Uni-Klinik'.

Coming from North : (e.g. direction Kassel)
Follow route A66 and redirect at 'Schiersteiner Kreuz' to Mainz on the A643, follow the route till 'Autobahn-Dreieck Mainz', where you again redirect to Darmstadt on the A60. Leave the autobahn at exit „Mainz-Finthen“, head to „Saarstraße/Innenstadt“, cross the roundabout 'Europaplatz', go straight ahead direction 'Innenstadt' and follow the signs to 'Uni-Klinik'.

Parking :
Parking inside the Hospital district is not possible ! You should drive to the Uni-Klinik car park at the Augustusplatz and walk to the Building No. 505, room U-109 (5 minutes).

By bus :
From the Hauptbahnhof Mainz take the bus and get off at the second stop ('Uni-Klinik'). Follow the signs to Building No. 505. There proceed to room U-109
